An all-female country team takes on the challenges of the Arctic in the Department of State’s northernmost post—the U.S. Consulate in Nuuk, Greenland. The consulate reopened in 2020, reflecting a mutual desire to deepen the U.S.-Greenland-Denmark relationship and underscore the significance the United States places on the Arctic region as a whole. Post’s current programs focus on economic growth sectors, designed to strengthen the bilateral partnership, share best practices, and deepen people-to-people ties.
