Embassy Belgrade and USAID promote accessibility in Serbia

Embassy Belgrade is contributing $1 million through USAID to promote economic empowerment, inclusive work environments, and more accessible employment for people with disabilities in Serbia. “We promote equal opportunities for all,” the embassy wrote in a social media message, which included this photo of Ljupka Mihajlovska (left), president of the managing board of the Serbian Alliance for Accessibility which advocates for solutions to accessibility challenges. Mihajlovska served as the keynote speaker at a USAID/USG-supported event, “National Day of Giving,” October 2020, which recognized individuals and companies that support worthy causes in Serbia.
