In commemoration of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Ambassador Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley (bottom center) hosted and moderated a virtual roundtable featuring four Department of State employees as panelists, July 26. The panelists, Deputy Regional Security Officer Ben Sides (second row left), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for the Office of Foreign Assistance Chaiszar Turner (second row center), Special Emphasis Program Manager Angela Cannella (top row left), and Office Management Specialist Bada Erdogan (second row right), discussed the diversity of disability itself, and shared their personal reflections on 31 years of the ADA and practical solutions for fostering greater access and inclusion in the workplace.
